Hot Fish

I’ve settled down rather well into china. Need to do some catching up on the learning side. We’ve already covered 400+ words and its been barely 3 weeks!!! There’s lots of nice food around campus, although it is truly chinese style. Lots of oil =) And we are still encountering the same problem when ordering rice. They always bring it out last, so we sit there with the food on the table, watching it get cold, while we wait for them to literally cook the rice for us. EVERY time we go to a restaurant, we’re having to ask them to bring the rice out NOW. Ahhh, the idiosyncracies lol.

But we had this really nice fish yesterday. I think it was..cat fish? well it had whiskers anyway lol. Really nice and great tasting. The real kicker was that it was just me and a friend eating it. We definitely over ate last night. I’ll note that we DID invite 2 other people to come to dinner and help us eat the fish, but nooooooo, they had better things to do, like eat instant noodles in their room glares at no one in particular lolz. Well, its food food food =p
