Of phriends, photos and plans

I’ve been busy studying Japanese. I’ve kinda gotten Hiragana down, and am now working on Katakana. Japan has been awesome. The weather has been great, but it looks like today is the turning point, with temps dropping to around 4 degrees.

We met Jodie and Guyin on Wednesday, just after they touched down into Hiroshima and had dinner. It was awesomeeeeeeeee. Buffets = win. It was at Kasumi’s favourite restaurant (well one of them), which does the organic food sourced locally. And it was as good as always. This time, we even got freshly made sushi. Jodie has been travelling around Japan, visting like half a dozen places already. She’s definitely been making use of the J-Rail pass.

I’m heading to Narra and Kyoto this weekend, and am looking forward to some lovely scenic shots and awesome times! I’ll work on getting more photos up soon (and I’ve promised to change my facebook picture soon!) and to showcase my new hairstyle, though I really do think that you can’t capture its style and essence in a photo. My hairstyle is very…3D.

Till I return next week…

Have fun in Nara & Kyoto.
We’re just down the road from both of those, though shamefully I’ve been to neither yet.
